Ex Manicomio Mombello

Buonasera a tutti :)

Oggi vi mostro un post senz'altro diverso dal solito. Questo pomeriggio io e Andrea siamo andati a visitare l'ex clinica psichiatrica, comunemente chiamata "manicomio Mombelli" nei pressi di Limbiate in Brianza. Avevo letto molte ricensioni a riguardo: "il paradiso dei fotografi" , "un luogo misterioso e senza tempo". Io, che studio psicologia, ne sono rimasta affascinata. Il posto era completamente abbandonato e in stato di degrado, ma l'atmosfera che si respirava era ancora intatta come molti anni fa. Le persone che per mesi e anni hanno lavorato o vissuto in quel posto hanno lasciato parecchie cose, pantofole, camicie, occhiali, letti, materassi, specchi, sedie, poltrone. E camminando in quei corridoi e in quelle stanze mi sono immaginata i paziente che un tempo venivano ricoverati in quella clinica, i loro stati d'animo e le loro storie. So di non aver reso giutizia con le mie foto che non sono un granché, ma di molte ne sono soddisfatta, soprattutto quelle dove che mi ha scattato Andrea, dove ho voluto "ricreare" per un istante l'emozione forte e violenta di trovarsi in quel luogo.

Insomma, c'è chi il sabato pomeriggio lo passa nei centri comerciali e c'è chi, come me, negli ex istituti psichiatrici haha :D

Today I'm showing you a totally different type of post. This afternoon, Andrea and I visited an ex psychiatric institute (do you call them like this?) near Milan. I read a few opinions about this place on the internet and they all described it as "a photographer's paradise", "a mysterious place". I study psychology in school, and the enviroment in there just let me speechless. The structure was totally abandoned but the atmosphere was in the air like if the time was going back through all those years. All the people who used to live or work there left plenty of their things like shoes, socks, jackets, eyeglasses, beds, books ect... . I know I'm not such a good photographer (at least I tried!) , but yet I liked the ones Andrea took where I tried to bring back in the present the atmosphere you felt being there.

Well, most of the people enjoy there Saturday afternoons in the Malls, when I'm enjoying myself in psychiatric institutes haha :D
